Building Better Executive Support for Growing Companies

Compass Point was founded on a simple idea: great executive support requires more than placement. It requires thoughtful evaluation, structured integration, and long-term alignment.

Why Compass Point Was Created

Compass Point was founded by Billy Mitchell after years of working with executive assistants across multiple companies.

While hiring assistants helped improve productivity, Billy repeatedly encountered the same problem: traditional recruiting firms focused only on finding candidates, not on ensuring those assistants actually succeeded once they joined the organization.

After placement, companies were often left to manage onboarding, workflows, and long-term performance on their own.

Compass Point was created to solve this gap, helping companies not only hire executive assistants, but also integrate and support them successfully.

“Compass Point was built to solve a problem I personally experienced, hiring great assistants is only half the battle. The real challenge is making the partnership work.”
– Billy Mitchell

Our Mission

Most recruitment firms focus on filling roles. Compass Point focuses on making executive support work long-term.

Instead of treating hiring as a one-time transaction, we use a structured framework designed to ensure assistants are carefully evaluated, successfully integrated into the organization, and supported as the role evolves.

Our goal is simple: To help leaders build operational clarity and momentum through exceptional executive support. When executives have the right assistant, they gain the time, focus, and capacity needed to lead their organizations more effectively.

Compass Point exists to make that possible.

How We Work With Clients

What We Believe

Long-Term Partnerships

We believe hiring an executive assistant is not a one-time transaction. Strong partnerships require thoughtful integration, communication, and ongoing support.

Operational Clarity

Great assistants thrive when expectations, workflows, and responsibilities are clearly defined. We focus on building systems that help assistants succeed.

High Standards

Executive assistants operate in high-trust environments. We maintain rigorous standards when evaluating and selecting talent.

Human-Centered Collaboration

Behind every successful placement are real people working together. We prioritize communication, alignment, and mutual respect between executives and assistants.

Our Team

Compass Point is led by a focused team dedicated to helping clients build strong executive support systems.
